The white had travelled quite far from the valley where her friends were, and kept high in the sky, where frigid temperatures made it nicer for her. Finally though, she soared downwards in a spiral, landing on an icy crag in what was for Jing, the middle of nowhere.
Jing had a hard time hanging onto the white as it flew, between the cold temperature and the numbing wind that came with flying she was shivering a lot. When the white started to go down and landed she looked around scared, “W-Where are we…?” She asked, still shivering but now her arms went around her to try and give some more warmth.
“Not quite there yet.” The white leaned back, forcing Jing to slide off her back. “But I need to rest my wings.”
Jing let out a surprised yelp as she fell off the white, looking up at her scared and moving back quickly. She started to look around a little, even though she knew running right now would be useless and impossible.
The white smiled wide, showing her many teeth, as a large clawed foot moved to push her to the ground, trapping her between two large claws on the ground. The white leaned over her, breath frigid and icy as she leaned close. “But I’d get bored just resting.” She hissed.
Jing’s eyes widened in shock and fear, trying to move away but was to slow. Crying out in suprise as she was pinned to the ground, looking up at the dragon as her fear grew. Her shaking just grew as the head got close to her and she closed her eyes, struggling to get out from under the foot.
The white smirked, and moved back a bit. “Have you ever been frost-bitten?”
Jing paled as she heard that, frozen from fear. Of course she had before… but she never, EVER wanted to go through that again!
“I’ve always been fascinated by how brittle your puny limbs get when frosted over… they snap so easily…” The white went on, breathing below-zero air on Jing.
Jing closed her eyes again, shivering just getting worse and she let out a small gasp as the freezing air, which just met the cold air stabbing into her lungs more.
The breath moved to her hands and feet, and ice formed over them, gluing her to the ground. Then the claw moved away.
Jing whimpered and cried out from the freezing pain in her body. She struggled agenst the ice once the claw was away from her, starting to panic.
The dragon responded by piling more ice on her restraints, then one claw traced along her torso. “I heard you couldn’t die… I suppose that means I can kill you and no one will mind.” She smirked.
Jing let out a weak cry, shivering as she looked up at the dragon. “P…P…lease…n…no….” She pleaded, struggling to get out words with her teeth chattering so much. Her struggles slowed and finally stopped as she realized she was trapped.
The claw dug into Jing’s chest painfully, drawing blood.
Jing cried out as the claw dug into her, tears falling down her face. Her shaking didn’t stop, which made her chest hurt even more while the claw was in her.
“You’re still shaking, you should be glad. It means you haven’t had enough cold yet.” The white commented, digging in deeper. She was pushing in through Jing’s right chest area, and the claw pierced through between two ribs, into her lung.
Jing continued to cry out from the pain, eyes closed tightly. Her cries grew a little weaker as her lung was dug into, and she let out a gasp and coughing a little.
The claw retreated, leaving a bleeding hole in her chest. The white leaned forward, and carefully sent out a shooting tendril of ice-breath, freezing through the hole, freezing part of Jing’s lung and stoppering the blood as it crystalized.
Jing cried out, which was cut off when part of her lung was frozen partly, and she struggled to take in breaths. “S…top… pl…please sto…p…” She pleaded, her shivering starting to lessen.
The white sighed, such weak life-forms. She seemed to already be weakening, and soon would die. She couldn’t let her sport finish this fast though, and so she next inhaled sharply, and breathed away the ice-cold air around Jing, warming the area where she was, though her limbs remained frozen to the ground.
Jing was surprised and confused by the sudden warm air, opening her eyes again to look at the white. She moved a little, part of her hoping the ice was gone but she felt it and her hope went away as quickly as it came. Taking in a pained breath she whimpered “Please… just leave me alone…” She pleaded.
The white smirked, “Why would I? It’s not every day I get to torture a DragonLord… and when I kill you, your dragon will die.”
Jing whimpered more, closing her eyes and shaking her head a little. “No… p…please no…”
“Tell me… how do your limbs feel?”
“C…Cold…” Jing answered quietly. They were more then cold, it felt like there were needles stabbing into them, and it hurt a lot!
“You can still feel them then…” She said, and bore down on her left arm, cracking the ice that held it down.
Jing whimpered, closing her eyes tightly as the ice was cracked, scared about what the dragon was going to do next.
The ice parted, one half still holding her arm to the ground, but her wrist and hand now free. The bloodied claw dug into her palm.
Jing cried out, hand reactivly trying to move away. Because of the cold it was partly numb so the pain wasn’t as bad as it normally would have been, but it still hurt.
“Yes, about right…” The claw receded, then she slashed down, the blade-like claw cutting through her wrist, and cuting her hand off.
Jing screamed as she felt, and saw her hand getting cut off. “N…No!” She called out, closing her eyes tightly, more tears falling down her face. This couldn’t be happening!
The blood spurt out of the arteries quickly, spilling on the frozen floor. The white let it, for a while, before freezing off the stump.
Jing continued to cry quietly, shaking her head. “Please no…p…please no…” She whispered.
“Now then, shall we make things symmetric?” She moved to Jing’s other arm.
Jing shook her head more, reactivly trying to move her arm to protect her other hand.
The white broke the ice off her right hand, piercing through her palm as she had done with her left.
Jing cried out, but she didn’t feel it as much as her left. Her limbs were going more numb from the cold as time went on.
The white smirked, and began extracting the cold from her arm to return feeling, then slashed through her wrist.
Jing screamed as the pain returned and her hand was cut off. “Stop! Please stop!!” She pleaded, unable to see clearly through her tears.
“I heard you’ve been through a lot.” The white commented, as she froze the stump. “You should be used to pain like this…” She began working on Jing’s feet, planning to cut them both off at the knees.
Jing continued to cry quietly. She was use to pain… but it never made it any easyer to handle. She had watched her limbs get cut off before, but it was still hard to stomach. Not only that… but if Kinu was still alive.
The white proceeded to cut off each leg after scratching large gouges down them first, maximizing Jing’s numbed pain.
Jing’s screams continued as her legs were cut off, but it was often cut off by pained coughs, a strong taste of blood filling her mouth and her one lung hurting more and more.
The screams of pain were as music to the white, who was enjoying herself. Finally, she moved back to loom over Jing, watching how the girl’s tears had frozen along her cheeks and fur. “Now, as I stated first, I am very fond of symmetry. Have you ever seen a snowflake? They are perfect… and each unique.” Her claw moved to caress Jing’s chest, opposite where she’d already been pierced. The symmetrical side of the wound was where Jing’s heart was.
Jing cried out, but her cries were weaker now the mental and physical strain she was being put through pushing her to her limit. “P…Please no more!” She pleaded before coughing again.
“I will make you into the most beautiful snowflake ever.” She assured Jing, the claw slowly digging into her chest.
Jing screamed in pain, shaking her head a little. Her cry weakened once the claw went deeper and she started to cough more. It was hurting to just breath now!
“Say hello to your dragon for me, will you?” The claw dug deeper, piercing Jing’s heart.
Jing screamed as she felt her heart stabbed. At hearing the dragon’s words her mind went to the silver dragon. This was her fault… and now Kinu… I’m so sorry Kinu… She thought, closing her eyes tightly as she felt herself fading and her body went still.
Once the white had frozen the second hole, effectively freezing Jing’s heart, she proceeded to encase the body in a huge ice capsule, that she built with her breath into a slightly pinkish snowflake of ice, Jing’s blood mingling with the water. she made a pedestal and set up the snowflake, an amazing artpiece if she did say so herself.
